We work with high-quality materials ranging from precious metals to chains, including genuine gemstones and ethically sourced diamonds. Our pieces are built to be worn every day and forever. La Serenidad aims to create aesthetics that awakens one’s desire to be sincere with one’s style, while living boldly and unapologetically.

We also have a few tips and tricks you can use to keep your piece looking brand new.

Sterling silver

925 Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. While keeping the authenticity and original of the Sterling silver, our products strive to presents a natural and sustainable concept. Additionally, we plate all of our silver jewelry with a protective pure silver layer, which gives it extra shine and durability.

Care

H2O sensitive. Avoid water when wearing your piece, because over time the sterling silver will oxidise. However, the oils in your skin help keep sterling silver from oxidising faster. So, wear often, and keep your piece in your La Serenidad pouch to keep oxygen at bay.

Gold Plating

Some of our jewelry are made of brass. In order to keep our product long lasting to use. We plate our brass jewelry in rhodium and 24k gold, which gives it extra shine and durability. Rhodium is one of the costliest precious metals due to its rarity. The 24k gold alloy gives our pieces their beautiful, subtle hue. While 24k gold might show its wear a bit more than18k solid gold naturally, with proper care, 24k solid gold gives a more elegant and well-rounded shine to all your jewelry.

Gold Vermeil

Not to be confused with regular gold plating, gold vermeil is a much thicker layer of gold which gives the pieces their long-lasting color. For a piece to be considered gold vermeil, the gold must be a minimum of 10k and 1.5 microns. We use 24k gold layered on sterling silver.

Care

Sweat and water, no thank you. Before exercising or showering, remove your vermeil jewelry. Clean your piece by buffing gently with a dry cloth and store it in your pouch.

Pearls

We use cultured or farmed pearls from oysters and freshwater mussels that we carefully select for our pieces. Pearls are sensitive in nature, so don’t forget to treat them with love.

Care

Make sure they are the last thing you put on before going out and the first thing you take off when you come home. Avoid direct contact with chemicals found in perfume or other cosmetics.
